Barbara & Rogerio's Spring Wedding at Lakeview Pavilion

Before we dive into the details of Barbara & Rogerio's beautiful spring wedding at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro, MA, let's rewind to a memorable summer day in 2023. Barbara and Rogerio traveled from their home in NYC to Gloucester, MA, for a golden hour engagement session at Wingaersheek Beach. The session was extra special, thanks to a stunning arrangement of florals I had used at a styled shoot the day before. We spent a delightful evening capturing their love and getting to know each other better.

As the session ended and I headed home, I received a call from Barbara with some unexpected news—their car wouldn’t start! With AAA estimated to take a few hours and the couple facing a long drive back to NYC, Barbara and I made a quick trip to a nearby auto parts store for jumper cables. When we returned, Rogerio gave us a crash course on jumping a car, turning a potential inconvenience into a memorable bonding moment. Once their car was up and running, it was finally time for all of us to head home, this time for real!

Fast forward to April 28th, 2024—wedding day! Both Barbara and Rogerio prepared for their big day surrounded by family in nearby Airbnbs in Rhode Island. These were cherished quiet moments of reflection and anticipation before the joyful hustle and bustle of the wedding celebrations.

Arriving at Lakeview Pavilion, the couple shared an intimate first look on the patio overlooking the serene lake. Barbara looked absolutely stunning, and the look on Rogerio's face as he saw his bride approach was priceless. It was a moment filled with love, excitement, and the promise of their future together.

Following the first look, we captured some family portraits. These included a mix of classic and fun shots, showcasing the joy and excitement shared by all. As the time for the ceremony drew near, there was a palpable sense of anticipation in the air.

The ceremony itself was a beautiful reflection of Barbara and Rogerio's love, surrounded by their closest family and friends in the elegant setting of Lakeview Pavilion. The lake was the perfect backdrop for their vows and the start of their new life together as husband and wife. As they walked down the aisle, their guests showered them with bubbles.

Before the reception, Barbara changed into a second dress, and the newlyweds had a private look at the reception hall before their friends and family flooded the room. We popped outside for some more fun photos with the wedding party and the couple before heading in to celebrate.

The reception was stunning, with touches of gold, white, and deep green. After some dances and heartfelt speeches, there was a beautiful surprise: Rogerio played "My Heart Will Go On" on his violin for his bride in front of their guests. It was a touching moment that highlighted their deep connection and love.

After that, we danced the night away, celebrating the new Mr. & Mrs. Modesto. Barbara and Rogerio's wedding day was truly magical, filled with laughter, tears of joy, and unforgettable moments. It was an honor to capture their love story, from the engagement session at Wingaersheek Beach to their beautiful wedding day at Lakeview Pavilion. Wishing Barbara and Rogerio a lifetime of happiness and love as they begin this new chapter together!
