a parisian wedding at misselwood estate

Whisked away to paris, a styled shoot at misselwood estate & events: beverly, ma.

Welcome to Small Business Month! What better way to kick things off than by celebrating the creativity, passion, and ingenuity of small businesses? Today, I'm thrilled to share with you an unforgettable experience I had the pleasure of attending – a styled shoot orchestrated by the incredible Sarah Lord and her talented team of wedding industry vendors.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Beverly, MA, this styled shoot transported us to the romantic streets of Paris. Imagine a sea-side wedding infused with Parisian charm, where every detail exuded elegance and sophistication.

One of the highlights of the day was witnessing the collaboration between local small businesses. As I walked through the enchanting venue, I couldn't help but be inspired by the passion and dedication of these entrepreneurs. Behind every product and service was a story – a testament to the resilience and creativity of small business owners. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was clear that they poured their heart and soul into their craft.

Location, location, location – they say it's everything, and in this case, it truly was a dream come true. Nestled on the historic grounds of Misselwood Estate on the campus of Endicott College in Beverly, MA, we were treated to a breathtaking backdrop overlooking the ocean. The sight of the brick buildings covered in ivy added a touch of timeless elegance to the setting, setting the stage for a truly magical experience.

But perhaps the most jaw-dropping moment of the shoot was the ceremony site, adorned with a floral arch that framed the ocean backdrop in all its glory. It was a sight to behold – a testament to the beauty of nature and the artistry of our talented florist. The best part? The florals are faux and can be rented at a much lower cost!

The pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the vintage Rolls Royce, a timeless symbol of luxury and sophistication, adorned with cascading florals that added an extra touch of romance to the shoot. Paired with a champagne tower, it was the perfect backdrop for capturing timeless moments of celebration and joy.

This shoot would not have been possible without the models – several gorgeous young women adorned in stunning gowns, capturing the essence of Parisian elegance. Additionally, a real couple graced us with their presence, serving as our bride and groom for the evening. Their love absolutely radiated, and the chemistry of this real-life couple was unbeatable.

It is important to note that while this shoot was styled and used models, this is not just a fantasy concoction. This shoot is a genuine representation of the craftsmanship and artistry of all vendors involved, including myself as a photographer.

Hosted by the talented Sarah Lord, this styled shoot was a collaborative effort that showcased the collective vision and expertise of each vendor. Every detail was carefully curated to reflect the style and aesthetic of the respective businesses. Full list of vendors with Instagram links below.
