Nichole & Michael’s Winter Wedding at Grove in Rowley, MA

Nichole and Michael's wedding journey began with their engagement session over the summer at the scenic Great Brook Farm in Carlisle, MA. As we strolled through the picturesque farm, the love they shared was evident in every snap of the camera. The session ended on a sweet note—literally—as Nichole and Michael shared an ice cream cone, a playful and sentimental touch that carried through to their wedding day.

Fast forward to December, where a rare 50-degree day set the stage for their stunning winter wedding at Grove and Briar Barn Inn in Rowley, MA. Nestled in the heart of New England, the venue was adorned with festive holiday décor, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the cozy charm of the season.

A Love Story Unfolds

The day began with a heartfelt exchange of private letters. Nichole and Michael took a quiet moment to read each other’s words, a deeply emotional prelude to their much-anticipated first look. On the patio outside, Michael’s face lit up with a smile as he saw Nichole for the first time in her stunning gown, adorned with intricate lace and bead details. The moment was magical—a memory to cherish forever.

After the first look, we breezed through formal portraits, capturing family and bridal party moments filled with laughter and joy. The bridal party brought so much energy and fun to the day, but the real magic happened during the intimate moments with just Nichole and Michael. Against the backdrop of The Grove’s timeless architecture and natural beauty, their love shone in every frame.

A Ceremony to Remember

The ceremony was held indoors, officiated by Michael’s best friend Claire. Claire’s heartfelt words and personal touches made the ceremony truly unique and deeply moving. The love between Nichole and Michael filled the room, as did the love of their friends and family who gathered to celebrate them.

Heartfelt Speeches & Sweet Surprises

Michael’s father kicked things off with a speech that had everyone laughing and tearing up at the same time. His humor and heartfelt words set the stage for more toasts from Michael’s brother and best man, as well as Nichole’s sisters. The speeches were a perfect mix of humor, sentiment, and fond memories that brought smiles to every face in the room.

Dinner was a culinary delight, followed by a special dessert that tied the day back to their engagement session: an ice cream bar! Guests were treated to an array of flavors, toppings, and even fun photos from Nichole and Michael’s ice cream-themed engagement shoot.

A Night to Remember

The reception was nothing short of a party! After emotional parent dances and an epic group photo of all the guests, the dance floor opened, and it was on. DJ Dan Sky brought a unique blend of live music and DJ sets, keeping the energy high and the crowd dancing all night. (Seriously, that guy can sing!)

Grove was the perfect venue for this winter wedding, especially with its intimate yet spacious setup that made every moment feel cozy and special. Nichole and Michael, thank you for letting me be a part of your unforgettable day. From the first click of the camera at your engagement session to the final dance of the night, it’s been a joy capturing your love story.

Here’s to many more ice cream dates, laughter-filled moments, and a lifetime of happiness together!
