Lexi & Pat’s Intimate Plum Island Wedding at Blue Inn on the Beach

Lexi and Pat's wedding was the epitome of an intimate celebration, filled with love, family, and stunning seaside views. Held at the picturesque Blue Inn on the Beach on Plum Island, they couldn’t have chosen a better venue for such a special day. With only immediate family in attendance—parents, siblings, and grandparents—it was a day full of meaningful moments, all set against the backdrop of the ocean.

The day began with both Pat and Lexi getting ready in their respective suites. Pat and the guys prepped in the Lark Suite, perched on the top floor of the inn with sweeping 360-degree views of the ocean and the charming Plum Island village. Meanwhile, Lexi and her bridesmaids prepared one floor below in the Blue Suite, a spacious and elegant room with a full kitchen, dining area, and bedrooms, along with decks that overlooked the sparkling Atlantic.

Once both were ready, Lexi and Pat shared a beautiful first look on the private beach, with the waves crashing in the background and the wind creating those perfect veil moments. Some family members, excited for the big moment, spied from the balconies above. The couple exchanged smiles and sweet words as they enjoyed some quiet time before the formal portraits began.

Following portraits, it was time for the ceremony. Lexi’s brother, Michael, officiated, adding a personal touch to the brief yet heartwarming ceremony. The couple exchanged vows and rings before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife with the sea as their altar. An unexpected furry guest even made an appearance, running around the ceremony site as if to join in the celebration—a moment that brought laughter and joy to the day.

After the ceremony, Pat and Lexi enjoyed more portraits as the light softened over the beach, capturing the essence of the day: peaceful, intimate, and full of love. The evening continued with a cocktail hour and an intimate dinner catered by a close family friend. The aroma of the meal filled the hotel suite, and it was clear that the food tasted just as incredible as it looked.

As the sun set, the two families sat together, raising glasses and sharing speeches to celebrate the love between Lexi and Pat. It was truly an honor to witness and capture such a beautiful, private celebration of love.
